Do you feel so passionate about something that it just consumes you? If so, have you ever asked yourself what is the source or impetus or driver of such passion? For many people, to pursue a passion, to live a passion is born out of an inner desire, an inner fuel that will not dissipate; it represents a flame that will not die. To be consumed by such desire, such fuel, such flame is genius. It is genius because of the power we yield when we surrender to such passion.
To be guided by passion, to be driven by passion represents the highest form of living that any human can attain. Although all posses the potential to live one’s passion, to live as soul would live, few do. For those that do, however, living such passion reflects more than just pursuing a dream. For such people, pursuing, living their passion borders the fanatical, the spiritual, the radical. And it is from such mix of emotions, conditions, and actions that great things happen. To be precise, what emerges from the ‘system’ is a confidence, a set of behaviors, a force of will that is un-shakable; indomitable. And this, in turn, gives rise to great movements; specifically, the end of something old and the beginnings of something new.
Ghandi exhibited such confidence, set of behaviors, and force of will. The result was a movement towards freedom.
Martin Luther King exhibited such confidence, set of behaviors, and force of will. The result was the civil rights movement.
Mother Theresa exhibited such confidence, set of behaviors, and force of will. The result was a movement to help the poorest of the poor.
For such freedom seekers, for such soul searchers, their mission was clear. They each felt that they (through their actions, through their words, through their good deeds) were the END of something old (dead and decaying) and the BEGINNING of something new (alive and inspiring).
How powerful, how inspiring; what a model for ALL to emulate!
I, too, feel that I am the END of something old and the BEGINNING of something new. I feel that I am:
I am the END of dying things. I am the BEGINNING of great things.
That said, what are you the END of? What are you the BEGINNING of? In short, what will become of you?
Look forward to your reply.
